Please remember to vote for your National Officers. Your ballot MUST be postmarked by 6-21-08. If you have not received please contact Sandy at the NAWIC office sandyf@nawic.org or call 800-552-3506. She will be happy to assist you.
Registrations for convention should all be in your hands. For pre-registration they must be postmarked 7-7-08. This is going to be an awesome convention as Region 10 will be having two of its members installed on the National Board, Pat McDonald, CCA, CIT and Shawna Alvarado, CIT.
Convention room reservations deadline is 8-1-08 at the NAWIC rate of $119.00 per night.
Crystal Vision Winner: Nancy Eaton, CCA, CDS, CIT and a Past National President is this years winner. She will receive her award at Convention.
You should be voting on your new chapter officers/board no later than 6-30-08. The outcome of your chapter voting needs to be submitted to the National office by 7-15-08.
SAVE THE DATE --- BUILDING STRONG LEADERS……… will be held on August 16, 2008 in Concord, California. Learn about "Going up the Chairs in NAWIC", how to conduct a board meeting and what should happen at a general member meeting, Parliamentary procedures, Committee chairs (chapter and region) and lots of helpful hints to make your year successful.
Whether you are in any of those positions or are considering please attend. Registration flyer will be out shortly.
